Four Bluejays earn KCAC recognition

Four members of Tabor?s 23-12 volleyball team have received All-KCAC recognition.

Senior middle blocker Katelin Horstick and junior outside hitter Tena Loewen were named to the All-KCAC first team.

Horstick led the Bluejays in blocks with 125 this season, to rank 41st in NAIA Division I. She averaged one block per set, to rank fourth in the KCAC.

She tallied 338 kills (2.6 per game). Horstick hit .277 this season to rank fifth in the KCAC.

Over her career at Tabor, Horstick tallied 1,055 kills and 357 blocks.

Loewen was Tabor?s leader in service aces and kills. Her 76 service aces ranks third in NAIA Division I and is a KCAC best. She ranks sixth in aces per set (.58), 11th in kills (507)?and 20th in kills per set (3.9), which ranks third in the KCAC. She hit .229 this season.

Junior outside hitter Amy Horner received second-team recognition. In her first year as a Bluejay, Horner led Tabor in digs with 473 (3.7 per set). She recorded 346 kills (2.7 per set) and hit .158.

Freshman setter Keeley Kroeker received honorable mention. She led Tabor in assists with 846 (6.5 per set).
