Booton signs for Hesston volleyball

Goessel High School senior Alyssa Booton signed a letter of intent Thursday to play volleyball at Hesston College next fall. A two-time, first-team all-state setter, Booton helped lead the Bluebirds to the Class 1A, Division I state championship this year to conclude a perfect, 44-0 season. During Booton?s junior and senior campaigns, the Bluebirds went 87-1, losing just four sets during that time. Goessel also won its sixth-consecutive undefeated regular-season Wheat State League title this year. Booton holds the all-time assist record at Goessel. Seated with Booton are her parents, Kelly and Jill Booton. Standing are (from left) Crysta Guhr, GHS?head volleyball coach; and DeeDee Landis, Hesston head volleyball coach.
