The Tabor College volleyball team thundered through Sterling (25-13, 25-19, 24-26, 25-19) Friday night, and improved their conference-leading season record to 10-1. The Bluejays mugged Southwestern (32-30, 23-25, 25-19, 25-17) Wednesday night (Oct. 14) in Hillsboro.
Against Sterling, Tabor posted a high attack percentage. Four hitters scored two or more kills per game: Cohlmia (3.75), Frick (3.25), Hullet (2.75) and Carly Kroeker (2.0).
Against the Moundbuilders, Tina Frick totaled 19 kills and Ashley Cohlmia had 12. Tabor totaled 14.5 team blocks.
Coming?Tabor (13-7 overall) hosted McPherson at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Tabor will play at Hesston Thursday and at Kansas Wesleyan 2 p..m. Saturday. The Bluejays will play MidAmerica Nazarene at 4 p..m. in Salina, then gear up for their second meetings with conference title contenders Friends (Oct. 26) and Bethel (Oct. 28) in Hillsboro.
