Freshman Brielle Lund was the top finisher for Tabor, running to a 21st place finish (19:52.41) at the NAIA Mid-States cross-country meet in Winfield Saturday.
The Tabor men placed 15th, running an average time of 29:36.37
The Tabor women finished 16th at a 22:47.64 pace.
Sophomore Erin Fleming placed 100th (22:04.33) just a few paces ahead of 104th place finisher Makenzie King (22:15.58). Senior Elissa Richert was 147th (24:32.88). Running to 153th place was freshman Nicole Hurley (25:12.99). Freshman Jordan Scheer was 161st (26:29.40).
The top place for the Tabor men?s team was Jacob Heil with 80th in 28:38.52. Freshman Dylan Crawford placed 100th in 29:03.48. Hillsboro freshman Nathan Vogel finished 104th in 29:15.34. Senior Justin Ball finished 130th in 30:08.71. Junior Matt Spurgeon ran to 144th in 30:55.78. Freshman Richard Nance placed 177th in 33:23.12. Senior Teal Stutzman was 193th (35:49.30). Senior Eric Funk placed 197th in 36:29.54.
The KCAC conference championships at Kansas Wesleyan is Nov. 6.
