The Tabor College softball team dropped its conference openers March 17 at McPher?son in advance of traveling for 10 non-conference games in five days over spring break.
McPherson defeated the Bluejays 7-2 and 4-1, dropping Tabor (0-2 KCAC) to 2-16 overall, with 14 straight losses over the course of a merciless March schedule.
Tabor scored first in the 4-1 loss, and carried a 1-1 tie into the sixth inning, before Mac broke through against Megan Wedal and Dorene Dodson.
In the second game, the Bluejays trailed 1-0 in the bottom of the first, tied it briefly at 1-1, then fell behind for good when the Bulldogs scored three in the bottom of the second. Roxanne Rodriguez, Wedal and Jessica Klose scored Tabor?s runs.
Coming?Tabor resumes conference play April 1 at Kansas Wesleyan.
