Canton-Galva?The Eagles lost two games to Bennington Tuesday. The girls lost, 48-39. Cassidy Enns led the Eagles with 16 points. The boys lost, 49-48. Tanner Klingensmith and Nick Bray led the Eagles with 12 points apiece.

The Eagles split with Goessel Friday. The girls lost, 53-41. Cassidy Enns led the effort with 25 points. The boys won, 71-47.

The Eagles were set to conclude the regular season at Little River Tuesday.

Canton-Galva will compete in the Class 2A sub-state at Claflin-Central Plains next week. Joining the Eagles and the host school will be Ell-Saline, Ellinwood, Lincoln, Little River, Plainville and Smith Center.

Centre?The Cougars lost to Chase County Friday. The girls lost, 58-38. Shelby Makovec led the team with 12 points. Lotti Benning had 12 rebounds. The boys lost, 74-68. Five Cougars scored in double figures, led by Cole Srajer with 17, Dylan Deines and Dakota Stimpson with 13 apiece, and Jared Barney and Justin Bina with 11 each.

The Cougars were set to host Peabody-Burns Tuesday and will host Blue Valley-Randolph Friday.

Centre will compete in the Class 1A-Division I sub-state hosted by Rosalia-Flinthills next week. Joining the Cougars and the host school will be Burrton, Goessel, Pretty Prairie and Rural Vista.

Goessel?The Bluebirds split games with Udall Tuesday. The girls won, 41-14. Page Hiebert led the attack with 13 points. Alicen Meysing added 10. The boys lost, 57-47. Zach Wiens led the Bluebirds with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Lawton Makovec added 11 points.

The Bluebirds split games at Canton-Galva Friday. The girls won, 53-41. Page Hiebert led the team with 15 points. Eden Hiebert added 12 and Aleena Cook 10. The boys lost, 71-47. Connor Davis led the effort with 16 points. Zach Wiens added 12.

Goessel was scheduled to wrap up the regular season by hosting Berean Academy Tuesday.

The Bluebirds will participate in the Class 1A-Division I sub-state hosted by Rosalia-Flinthills next week. In addition to Goessel and the host school, the field includes Burrton, Centre, Pretty Prairie and Rural Vista.

Peabody-Burns?The Warriors swept Little River Tuesday. The girls won, 39-27. Three Warriors scored in double figures, led by Rylie McDowell with 13, Christa Elliot with 12 and Katy Benson with 10. The boys won, 59-54, aided by a 20-point performance by Vince Newman. Kornelius Skotaam and Braxton Kyle each scored 11 points.

Peabody-Burns lost two games at Moundridge Friday. The girls lost, 70-21, and the boys lost, 57-43.

The Warriors were scheduled to end the regular season at Centre Tuesday.

Peabody-Burns will compete in the Class 2A sub-state hosted by Inman next week. In addition to the Warriors and the host school, the field includes Coldwater-South Central, Berean Academy, Greensburg-Kiowa County, Medicine Lodge, Moundridge and St. John-Hudson.
