Seventeen Tabor College athletes have received recognition as 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the fall season. Nominees must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and must be at least an academic junior.
Cross-country runners receiving recognition are seniors Joel Allen, Garrett Daugherty, Hannah Holmes and Jessica Vix, and junior Allie Jost.
Representing the football team among 28 KCAC athletes honored are Tabor seniors Shawn Johnston and James Kawagoe, and juniors Colin Hodges, Matt McElroy and Adrian Polk.
From men?s soccer, junior Jeremy Johnson was one of 21 KCAC athletes recognized. Women?s soccer was represented by seniors Anna Friesen and Jessica Renzelman and juniors Nicole Stevenson and Amy Vaughan represented Tabor.
Two members of the volleyball team were selected: seniors Madison Hoover and Daniele Wendland.
