Activities are scheduled daily for different interest levels. The residents are able to attend as many of the programs as they choose. Some of the activities include hymn sing, arts and crafts, puzzles, games and bingo. The residents are able to use iPads to play individual games and listen to music. The residents may suggest program ideas for future activities.
To encourage residents to maintain or improve ambulation and mobility, a restorative aide works with residents. Physical therapy and occupational therapy can evaluate and provide services through the hospital and set up an individualized program for the restorative aide to work with the resident.
The Living Center has a beautiful chapel for the residents to worship. Different clergy in the community come on Sundays to provide services for the residents. Hymn singing is held during the week with volunteers who lead the hymns and play the piano.
