Cady family earns Wildlife Award

The Gerald Cady family was selected as the 2016 Wildlife Award winner. Jerry and family purchased several pieces of property over the years and worked to enhance wildlife food and cover while maintaining a working farm. The family has worked to establish riparian field borders, food plots, shrub thickets and an artificial wetland using several programs from the USDA, Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks & Tourism and local funding sources. They have spent countless hours in maintaining the area with the family in their pursuit of a perfect place for wildlife.
