2015 SOIL CONSERVATION POSTER CONTEST WINNERS

Photo Patty Decker / Free PressEmma Noble, a fourth grader at Hillsboro Elementary School, was the first-place winner in the poster contest sponsored by the Marion County Conservation District. Noble, along with the second- and third-place poster winners, was recognized during the annual meeting Saturday at Eastmoor United Metho?dist Church in Marion. Her poster will also be entered in the state competition. Emma?s parents are Steve and Gita Noble.

Jacob Thiessen, a fourth-grade student at Hillsboro Elementary School, was the second-place winner in the poster contest sponsored by the Marion County Conservation District. His parents are Anthony and Carissa Thiessen.

This year?s theme was ?Local Heroes: Your Hardworking Pollinators.? Her parents are Dan and Becky Suderman.
