Spur Ridge Vet Hospital of Marion has been around for years providing many services for animals all over Marion County. On Friday, they opened up a new lodge facility for animals to stay at when their owners need to board them.
Veternarian and owner Dr. Brendan Kraus said, “We just wanted a more comfortable boarding facility. And the grooming salon is part of it, too. There is big bathing area and a professional groomer.”
The large building can house a large number of animals at one time. Each room has comfortable space with the option to be inside or to go outside. There is also a large space outside for the animals to run around and play.
The facility will take dogs and cats both long term and short term such as when an owner goes on vacation or the family is in the process of moving.
They offers single occupancies or companion rates for animals who don’t want to be alone and don’t mind sharing the space with another animal.
