Marion Elementary School children have gone ?yo-yo crazy? following a presentation by Steve Hartman of the NED Show Tuesday, Feb. 17. Hartman ?got their motors running? with his motorcycle yo-yo trick. He uses his talents to educate children on academic achievement. Principal Rod Garman initiated contact with the group. ?The NED message of Never give up, Encourage others and Do you best, ties in so well with our guidelines for success at school,? Garman said. ?I will continue using this message which reinforces those character traits that are already being taught in our Character Counts Program too.? Traits in this program range from teaching honesty and caring to playing by the rules and respecting others.
