Terry Wise has been selected as the new vice-president of Adult and Graduate Studies at Tabor College Wichita.
Prior to coming to Tabor, he served as a pastor while working to complete his law degree from Oak Brook College of Law, Fresno, Calif.
He also has a bachelor?s degree in history from William Penn College, Oskaloosa, Iowa, a master?s in theological studies from Bethel Theological Seminary, St. Paul, Minn., a?doctor of ministry degree in pastoral ministries from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Ill., and a doctorate in speech communications and conflict management from the Union Institute and University, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Four other new faculty have been hired at TCW for the new year.
Lori Walsh is the first full-time admissions recruiter for TCW. A graduate of Fresno (Calif.) Pacific University, she joined the staff July 6.
Carmen Stephens is assistant professor in the nursing program. She started at the Wichita campus Aug. 2 and has a great deal of teaching and clinical experience in nursing.
Christina Gunter began as office and academic support coordinator July 12 and is a member of the Christian Ministry faculty. She has a bachelor?s degree from Eastern Nazarene College, Quincy, Mass., and a master of divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Mo.
Brenda Helmer has been named chair of the Tabor College nursing program. She also serves as assistant professor in the program.
