Participants will get a whirlwind tour of North America without leaving the Hillsboro city limits at the next session of Learning in Retirement planned for Monday, Nov. 1.
Hank Wiebe, Hillsboro, who along with wife Lynn manage Prudent Tours, will be sharing highlights from some of the most popular tours that they provide each year.
Prudent Tours annually books 45 to 50 tours, and this year will be visiting every state in the mainland. Wiebe is a 1979 Tabor College grad?uate. Daughter Greta is now a junior at Tabor.
The LIR programs begin at 9:45 a.m. in the lobby of the Wohlgemuth Music Education Center. Registration for the entire series of presentations is $15 per semester for an individual, or $29 per couple.
For those who wish to attend an individual session, admission is $4.
LIR participants can take in lunch in the college cafeteria following the program for a discounted price.?An additional fee of $3.75 will be charged for those who wish to partake.
