Wear presents dance concert at KSU

Kansas State University senior Whitney Wear, from Marion, showcased her talent and experience through a dance concert at Kansas State University.

?Exhale: Expression through Movement,? was a collaboration of choreography and dance performance by Wear and explored personal and social ideas in art, music, and dance.

The one act show was presented Sunday at Nichols Theater in Manhattan.

Wear is a graduate of Marion High School and the daughter of Steve and Dana Wear.

?I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to share my work and passion with the Manhattan community,? Wear said.

Guest artists included musicians Chelsey Fritch and John Churchill; choreographer was David Ollington and lighting designer was Eric Voecks.
