Hillsboro High School sophomore Vance Klassen has been chosen to participate in Kansas State University?s Summer Choral Institute. SCI, now in its 37th year, is one of the nation’s most unique summer programs for high school musicians. Forty of the nation?s top choral music students are selected by audition from a pool of 200 applicants. Vance is the son of Kyle Klassen and Stacy Baker. Selected as an alternate is Anna Glanzer, sophomore, daughter of Chris and Kathryn Glanzer. They are students of Lynn Just, vocal instructor at HHS, and Janie Brockenicky, Tabor College.
