Utting, Young and Young win local scramble

Stan Utting, Tim Young and Dan Young combined for 112 to win the 16th annual Marion-Hillsboro three-person scramble golf tournament this weekend.

The two-day event drew 144 golfers and consisted of 18 holes in Hillsboro on Saturday and then 18 holes in Marion on Sunday.

Following are the winners of each flight and their scores for both days.

Championship flight: 1. Stan Utting, Tim Young, Dan Young 57/55, 112; 2. Aaron Hett, Nicholas Hett, Travis Hett 56/56, 112; 3. Anthony Thiessen, Phil Thiessen, Scott O?Hare 58/60, 118; 4. Craig Jones, Jordan Roberts, Jim Roberts 57/62, 119; 5. Doug Dick, Greg Wyatt, Clint Seibel 58/63, 121.
