Three Hillsboro High School students competed in the Anderson Concerto Auditions at Wichita State University Dec. 9.
Elise Heyen, freshman, placed second in the intermediate piano division, Ben Heyen, senior, placed second in the advanced division, and Maria Loewen, senior, was awarded honorable mention.
