MaryBeth Bowers and Linda Ogden, both of Marion, will present ?Drug of Choice: The Current Facts and a Mom?s Story? at the 60+ Learning in Retirement Program, Monday, April 16.
The session will begin at 10 a.m. in the Wohlgemuth Music Education Center, located on the Tabor College campus.
Bowers will recount the alcohol-related death of her son in 1996, and Ogden, who serves as executive director of Communities in Schools of Marion County Inc., will share new information on alcohol?s impact on youth.
Older adults are invited to attend. Enrollment is $15 per person a semester, $28 per couple or $4 a session.
In an effort to encourage participation, first-time visitors will be admitted free of charge. Registration and discount lunch cards will be available at the door.
