The fifth-grade students at Hillsboro Middle School received a visit from Bruce Heyen, chemistry professor at Tabor College, Wednesday, Oct. 2. Heyen shared his expertise on the sun, moon, planets, constellations, asteroids and galaxies. The fifth-graders are writing reports about space across the curricula of reading, science and language arts under the guidance of teachers Maura Wiebe, Rod Just and Collette Haslett.
