Tabor College Project SEARCH signs four interns for fifth cohort

Four students have signed contracts to participate as interns in the Tabor College Project SEARCH program for the 2021-2022 academic school year.

Haley Loewen from Hillsboro, Ruth Hurst from Hillsboro, Sarah Spencer from Peabody and Logan Miline from Inman have signed contracts to be the next cohort of interns starting in the Fall.

“This event signifies the commitment of these young people to Project SEARCH for the upcoming school year,” said Robert Haude, Project SEARCH coordinator. “This is more than just a signing event, it is an agreement by the student and their family that they will commit to exploring vocation through internships at Tabor College.”

The program is nearing the end of a successful fourth year at Tabor College. Project SEARCH is a partnership between the college and Marion County Special Education Cooperative. The two organizations participate in an advisory committee that meets on campus monthly and
