Several Marion businesses and organizations joined forces to send six students to Boys State at Kansas State University June 3-9. Contributing to the cause were James William Miesse American Legion Post 22, Legionnaires with the help of Central National Bank, Tampa State Bank, Marion National Bank, Scully Estates, Marion Kiwanis, Western Associates, Marion Pharmacy, Marion County Record and Cardie Oil.
