Seven HHS students perform at KMEA

Seven Hillsboro High School vocal students and one instrumental student performed in Kansas Music Educators Association?s South Central District honor groups Saturday, Dec. 7.

Vocalists performing in the mixed chorus were senior Hannah Bostic and freshman Vance Klassen; per?forming in the women?s chorus were junior Claire Heyen, senior Abigail Klie?wer, sophomore Jaz?mene May, junior Daniele Melton and senior Molly Wiebe.

Performing in the honor band was Allison Gray, a sophomore.

Students were chosen from in a live audition process in early November. In January, students from across the state will audition in Salina for the opportunity to perform with the state KMEA groups.
