Hillsboro Middle School Book Club Members (from left) Thelma Wilson, Eva Franz, Olivia Jury and Sarah Schafers hold the sign drawing attention to the annual Spring Scholastic Book Fair beginning Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, in the Wiebe Media Center. The store is open to the public during the school day, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with extended shopping hours from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 29. Students will have the opportunity to shop during the school day as well as before and after school. The WMC Book Fair offers specially priced books and educational products, including popular series, award-winning titles, new releases, adult bestsellers and other great reads from more than 100 publishers, according to librarian Janet Whisenhunt. The ?very popular with students? Sucker Pull contest also will be available at 25 cents per pull before and after school. Contest money will be used to purchase new materials for the library.
