Ron Braun, North Newton, has been hired as the new vice president for advancement at Tabor College.
President Jules Glanzer made the announcement Friday, Jan. 20. Brain?s first day in the role was Monday, Jan. 23.
?We are pleased that Ron is willing to assume greater leadership responsibilities for the benefit of Tabor College,? Glanzer said. ?His genuine love for his alma mater is evident and I look forward to working alongside him as the next chapter in the Tabor story is written.?
Braun, who was working as Tabor?s director of development, fills the position vacated by Jim Elliott, who accepted a position with Moody Bible College.
Prior to coming to Tabor in July 2010, Braun work with Kidron Bethel Retirement Services and Mennonite Central Committee.
