Robotics team qualifies for Hutchinson tournament

From left are Austin Rempel,Jacob Denholm and Paul Glanzer who have qualified for the Kansas VEX State Robotics Tournament in Hutchinson on March 2. Teams competing last Saturday at the Derby Robo Challenge were teams 4101A Trojans, consisting of Noah Bartel, 4101C The Other Guy, consisting of Austin Rempel, 4101D Top Gun, consisting of Paul Glanzer and 4101J Circuit Overload, consisting of Jacob Denholm. At the end of qualification rounds Austin was ranked 1st, Paul 6th, Noah 14th & Jacob 18th out of 26 teams. Austin Rempel & Paul Glanzer qualified for the state tournament by making it to semi-finals. Jacob Denholm qualified for state tournament by placing third in the Skills Challenge competition. Way to go Hillsboro TRobotics!

The Hillsboro VEX Turning Point robotics tournament is February 16.
