Caden and 16 other students in Keli Chisholm?s afternoon preschool class at Hillsboro Elementary School were asked to finish that sentence. Each child could choose from a group of pictures ranging from friends and pets to their bed, house or ice cream. This activity was to help them understand ?thankfulness,? Chisholm said, which is part of what Thanks?giving is about. Hillsboro schools will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving vacation. Classes resume Monday, Dec. 1.
