Peabody-Burns instrumental students will present their annual fall concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Brown Building Concert Hall.
The program will feature the Peabody-Burns Elementary School sixth grade band, the junior high Tomahawk Band and the high school?s Warrior Band, with Steven Glover, directing.
Some of the songs performed by the sixth grade and junior high bands will be from different style periods of music history.
Playing selections from other eras helps students experience different styles and types of music that have historical significance, he said.
The high school band will perform some of the music that was featured during halftime shows in the fall.
The PBHS Color Guard will also be performing during the high school portion of the concert.
?The public is invited and encouraged to attend this concert for an enjoyable evening of music and to support our hard working student musicians,? Glover said.
