PBHS?FFA competes in events

Peabody-Burns FFA members have been involved in a variety of activities recently.

Ashley Weems received first in her class and best in show at the 2011 Kansas State Fair for a photography exhibit of a blue columbine flower.

Zac Goodwin entered two Satin rabbits in the 4-H/FFA class at the state fair. The rabbits received blues and Goodwin received blues in showmanship, rabbit judging and breed-identification.

The Peabody-Burns chapter participated in the Wildcat Creek Ranch Cattlemen?s Contest Sept. 28. The senior team placed first on the written test, second on the oral presentation, second on the cattle evaluation and second overall in the senior division.
