PBHS grad on KSU title team

Jason Unruh, a Peabody-Burns graduate, was a member of the Kansas State University Crops Team that took first place in the North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture national contest April 15 in Modesto, Calif.

Sixteen teams competed, nine in the four-year division and seven in the two-year division. The K-State team also took home four of the top five individual placings.

This is the third straight title in this contest for the K-State Crops Team, and the 10th in the past 13 years.

Unruh, a senior, was third overall?first in agronomic exam and lab practical and fifth in identification.
