PBHS girls tour sites as part of FCCLA trip to Kentucky

Three members of the Peabody-Burns chapter of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America recently traveled to Louisville, Ky., to attend the national cluster meeting. Attending were Lauren Pickens, Heather Brooks and Amanda Pickens. The girls attended general sessions focusing on attitude and leadership. Breakout sessions focused on fundraising, leadership opportunities, community involvement and helping to make schools a healthier place. The girls also toured various places before and after the meetings: The National Corvette Museum (shown in the photo), Diamond Caverns, Louisville Slugger Museum, Frazier International History Museum, Churchill Downs and the St. Louis Arch. Cathy Silvers is the chapter adviser.
