Musical mother-daughter to lead 60+ session

A musical mother-daughter duo will present ?Piano Power: The Fun and the Familiar? at the next 60-plus Learning in Retirement Program at 10 a.m. Monday, March 3, in the Wohl?ge?muth Music Education Center at Tabor College.

Verna Davidson of Delphos, and daughter Tanya Davidson Wollenberg of rural Hesston, will play together on the piano, performing familiar hymns, popular songs and patriotic numbers.

Davidson is an accomplished performer and teacher. A Hall of Fame member of the national Guild of Piano Teachers, she has been judging guild auditions for 15 years.

Wollenberg, an adjunct music faculty member at Bethany College and Central Christian College, began studying piano with her mother at age 3. She is pursuing a master?s degree in piano performance from Wichita State University.

The public is welcome to attend all Learning in Retire?ment programs. Fees are $3 per session or $15 per semester ($28 per couple).

Registration and discount cards for lunch in the cafeteria will be available at the door during the half hour before the meeting.
