Marion High School Music students performed at the State Solo and Small Ensemble Festival and the Festival of Choirs at Worlds of Fun.
At the state festival Saturday, Marion Singers, Men?s Ensemble, vocal soloists Landon Leiker, E.J. Obermeyer and Caroline Collett, trumpet soloist Landon Leiker and trombonist Sarah Guetersloh all received ?I? ratings.
Isaac Baldwin and Women?s Ensemble received a ?II? rating.
At Worlds of Fun Sunday, the Marion Singers won the first-place trophy in their classification and a ?I? rating for their performance.
The band students are under the direction of Adam Johnson and the vocal students under the direction of David Clark.
