Marion Elementary School recently recognized its ?Students of the Month.? They are: front row (left to right) Kadyn Hein and Amy Gayle, both kindergarten; Kennedy Fahey, second grade; Colton Boudreaux and Melanie Garrett, first grade; (middle) Randon Richmond, second grade; Kourtney Hansen, fourth grade; Maleyah Thomas, first grade; Grace Neal, third grade; (back) Aaron Riggs and Molly Hess, both fifth grade; Harley Britton and Colleen Steele, both sixth grade. Tori Shults, third grade, and Jack Schneider, fourth grade, were not pictured. Each month, classroom teachers in grades K-6 recognize students for outstanding behavior. Students of the month are presented with a variety of gift certificates to a six local businesses. The criteria for selection are the MES ?Three Guidelines for Success,? which include being responsible, respectful and doing their best.
