These Marion Elementary School students were presented certificates last Wednesday for being ?Students of the Month? for September: front row (from left), Melanie Garrett, Macy Sigel, Matthew Christensen, Emma Neal; middle row, Drew Helmer, Tori Allen, Hailey Carter, Samantha Richmond, Jimi Thornbush, Tori Schults, Megan Bailey; back row, Breanna Doyle, Molly Hess, Kristen Herzet, Reann Hamm, Raleigh Kroupa. Each month during the school year a student will be chosen from each classroom, kindergarten through sixth grade, based on respectfulness, responsibility and effort. Each student who is selected receives a movie rental from Carlson?s Grocery Store, a pizza slice from Casey?s General Store, a candy bar from Ampride, an ice cream cone from The Big Scoop, a three-person swim from USD 408 and $1 off bowling at Sherbowl Lanes.
