Marion Elementary Principal Justin Wasmuth is excited about the school year and wants parents and students to know that he and his staff are doing all they can to keep things as routine and normal as possible.
“Well as routine and as normal as we can with masks and physical distancing,” said Wasmuth.
The main change is that everyone needs to come to the front circle drive before school or whenever being dropped off so that their temperature can be checked to ensure that no one has a fever. This is also where parents will pick children up.
One central drop off and pick up just makes it easier for everyone.
“Some kids used to come in the back, but we won’t be able to do that anymore,” said Wasmuth.
But kids will still be welcomed and greeted as they always have been.
