Marion schools find spelling winners

Regina Noonan (middle), a fourth-grader at Marion Elementary School won the MES spelling bee competition Friday, qualifying her for the Marion County bee at 10 a.m. Feb. 6 in Peabody. Second place went to Macy Sigel, also in fourth grade and Chloe Burkholder is the alternate. MES?Principal Justin Wasmuth presented the awards. The first-place winner at the Marion Middle School was seventh-grader Lindsey Sigel. Second place went to eighth-grader Jimi Dornbush; seventh-grader Nathan Young is this year?s alternate.
