Marion FFAers attend national convention

Members of the Marion-Florence FFA Chapter traveled to Indianapolis, Ind., Oct. 21-23 to attend the 90th National FFA Convention.

More than 65,000 students, parents and advisors attended the event. This year’s theme was “I Can, We Will.”

Members watched as awards were presented to national winners, listened to retiring addresses from the national FFA officers, and heard keynote addresses from Laila Ali and John Petz.

Members also viewed exhibits and visited with potential employers and colleges at the FFA Exposition, which featured more than 300 exhibitors.

Members from the Marion-Florence chapter toured the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the National FFA Center while in Indianapolis.
