Local students complete the Kansas Personal Finance Challenge

Eli Dalke, Kate Dalke, Grayson Ratzlaff and Brody Rader. Nathan Hiebert’s Personal Finance class competed in the Kansas Personal Finance Challenge in April. Hillsboro High School had the winning team in the state of Kansas. The top 4 scores won $200 and qualified to move onto the National Personal Finance Challenge. The team members that had the top scores were: Grayson Ratzlaff, Brody Rader, Eli Dalke and Kate Maxfield. They competed in the semifinal round at the National Competition at the end of May, but unfortunately did not qualify for the final round. This years competition was held online instead of in person.
