Local students complete degrees at Wichita State University

Nine Marion County students were among the more than 1,500 students completing their degrees at Wichita State University in spring 2012.

Hillsboro students included Christine A. Cederberg, doctor of nursing practice; Amber M. King, bachelor of arts in anthropology; Katy A. Nixon, bachelor of arts in biological sciences; and Megan E. Peachey, bachelor of science, medical technology.

Marion students included James Davis, bachelor of science in electrical engineering, cum laude; Adam C. Guetersloh, bachelor of science in aerospace engineering; Stacie S. Marsden and Kelley Schafers, both earning a master of education, curriculum and instruction; Kelley Schafers, master of science and Steven M. Zieammermann, master of education, special education-functional.

Undergraduate students who have attained a grade point average of 3.9 out of a possible 4.0 received the summa cum laude award; those with an average of 3.55 received the magna cum laude award; and those with an average of 3.25 received the cum laude.
