Hillsboro student Deon Weeks participated in a math competition at Emporia State University on Wednesday where he took 3rd place in Geometry.

On Oct. 27, Hillsboro High School students in Rachel Hein’s math classes competed in a math competition at Emporia State University.

“Everyone did a great job and we brought home some hardware! Tanner Plett, Keeley Brewer and Ella Suderman won 1st place in the Algebra Team competition and Deon Weeks took 3rd place in Geometry. Great work everyone,” said Hein.
