Hillsboro schools pick top spellers in preperation for annual county spelling bee

Hillsboro Free Press Staff PhotosHillsboro Elementary School and Hillsboro Middle School held spelling bees last Thursday to determine who will represent the two schools in the Marion County Spelling Bee later this month.?? The Marion County Spelling Bee will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Centre K-12 School. The event will be in the north gymnasium with participants checking in between 9:15-9:30 a.m. The public is invited, but once the event starts at 10 a.m., no admission is allowed.
