Hillsboro FFA members participated Friday, Jan. 31, in the South Central District Ag Communications and Job Interview events at Cowley County Community College. Hannah Bartel, Riley Loewen and Jordyn Siebert placed sixth in the Ag Com?munications event. The topic was ethanol. Bartel was the feature story writer, Loewen was the blog writer and Siebert designed a flyer. Participants also took a quiz over editing and communications. SaRae Roberts placed 10th in the Job Interview competition. Job contestants had to write a cover letter, prepare a resume, complete a job application, go through an interview and write a follow-up letter.
