HHS vocalists compete at regional festival

Hillsboro High School vocal students competed at the regional festival hosted by Tabor College Saturday.

Soloists receiving ?I? ratings were Nolan Dirks, Jessica Elliott, Cassie Kroeker, Luke Moore, Hayley Pankratz, Dakota Peterson, Amanda Roble, Heidi Schroeder, Jet Skiles, Nathan Vogel, Carly Weisbeck and Matt Wiebe.

Ensembles receiving a ?I? were Girls Ensemble, Spirit-N-Celebration, SNC Men and SNC Women.

Those receiving ?I? ratings will compete in the Class 3A state festival April 25 at Southeast of Saline High School.

Soloists receiving ?II? ratings were Kelsey Bartel, Brenna Blackketter, Kimberly Brown, Elise Heyen, Emma Heyen, Evan Just, Olivia Kliewer and Krista Reimer.

The Mixed Chorus, Concert Choir, and Girls Glee?all the girls from both choirs?will be competing at the Large Group State Festival Wednesday, April 15, at Bethany College.

Schedules for both contests will be posted on the school Web site. The public is invited to attend.
