HHS vocalists chosen for KMEA honor choirs

?Three Hillsboro High School freshmen were selected to sing in the Kansas Music Educators Middle Level State Honor Choir at the KMEA In-Service Workshop in February. Jonathan Stepanek, Hayley Pankratz, and Justin Houser were chosen for the choir based on recorded auditions. Live auditions for the KMEA South Central District Honor Choirs were held Nov. 3. The honor choirs will perform Saturday, Dec. 1, at Wichita State University. Chosen to participate were, back row: Jonathan Stepanek (fr.), David Vogel (sr.), middle row: Julia Loewen (sr.), Carly Weisbeck (soph.), Heidi Schroeder (jr.), front row: Kelsey Unruh (sr.), Lauren Just (sr.), Audrey Weinbrenner (sr.), and Maria Loewen (sr.)
