HHS vocal students fare well at regionals

The Hillsboro High School vocal department competed at the Regional Music Festival at Tabor College March 29.

Spirit-N-Celebration and its men?s and women?s ensembles received ?I? ratings. Members are Caleb Bettles, Danae Bina, Hannah Bostic, Cody Delk, David Dick, Avery Franz, Claire Heyen, Abigail Kliewer, Riley Loewen, Daniele Mel?ton, Dylan Nelson, Graham Pankratz, Tanner Sechrist, Julie Sinclair and Molly Wiebe.

Also receiving a ?I? rating was the women?s ensemble of Jazmene May, Allison Maxfield, Allison Hill, Anna Glanzer, Savannah Unruh, Taytum Miller, Rebecca Kaufman, Lydia Kliewer, Madi Sheppard, Kennedy Klein, Mesa Merrell, SaRae Roberts, Ali Jo Blazek, Callie Linnens and Kalen Moss, with accompanist Abigail Kliewer.

The mixed ensemble also received the top rating. Members are Anna Glanzer, Jazmene May, Allison Hill, Savannah Unruh, Rebecca Kaufman, Kennedy Klein, Lydia Kliewer, Taytum Miller, Mesa Merrell, Kalen Moss, Madi Sheppard, Callie Linnens, Marah Franz, Vance Klassen, Franklin Jost, Tyson Reimer and Austin Welch.

Soloists receiving a ?I? rating were Claire Heyen, Anna Glanzer, Daniele Melton, Vance Klassen, Molly Wiebe and Madi Sheppard.

Soloists receiving ?II? ratings were Abigail Kliewer, Callie Linnens, Jazmene May and Hannah Bostic.

Students receiving ?I? ratings advance April 26 to the state competition.
