HHS ?Students of the Month? for October


Parent: Brent and Jamie Driggers

Extra-curricular: Hillsboro MB youth group, cross country, basketball, track, Scholars Bowl.

Hobbies/interests: Reading, writing.

Future: I plan to major in psych therapy or youth ministry.


Parents: Kyle Klassen, Stacy Baker

Extra-curricular: Spirit-N-Celebration, FFA reporter, Student Council, class secretary, fall, musical, spring drama, HMBY.

Hobbies/interests: In my free time, I enjoy working on my singing skills by taking lessons at Tabor College. I also dedicate time to participate in the annual fall musical. I work as a dining assistant for Parkside Homes on days that I don?t have other activities.

Future: I plan to major either in music education or performing arts. I am still undecided on a college, but I am looking at some colleges in New York as well as K-State University.

Lydia Kliewer, senior

Parents: Lawrence and Gail Kliewer

Extra-curricular: Parkview MBY, Scholars Bowl, forensics, Leos, fall musical, cross country, National Honor Society, H-Club, Spirit-N-Celebration, Whale Shark Wednesday.

Hobbies/interests: I work at Greenhaw Pharmacy and I enjoy reading, being outside, eating, playing with my cats, watching Netflix and sleeping.

Future: I plan on going to KU and majoring in biochemistry and then obtaining a master?s degree in molecular technology at the KU Medical Center.

KALEN MOSS, senior

Parents: Rusty and Stephanie Moss

Extra-curricular: Forensics, Scholars Bowl, chess, Leos, volleyball manager, softball, stage manager for the musical and play, choir, Student Council president, Ebenfeld youth group.

Hobbies/interests: Reading or watching movies, spending time with friends and family.

Future: I haven?t decided on a college, but I plan to major in political science. From there, I intend to go to law school with the hope of becoming a lawyer.

AVERY UNRUH, freshman

Parents: Tim and Alissa Unruh

Extra-curricular: Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren youth group.

Hobbies/interests: I love people. Youth ministries. Church missions.

Future: I plan on attending Tabor College and going into the mission field.
