HHS ‘Students of the Month’ for November

MORGANNE HAMM, senior

Morganne HammParents: Jim and Myrna Hamm
Extra-curricular: Cross country, track, FFA, H-Club, National Honor Society, 4-H, student council, catechism classes and senior class president.
Hobbies/interests: She enjoys spending time with family and friends, loves to bake, sew, read books and watch movies.
Future: Her college of choice is Kansas State University, where she plans to major in elementary education.

KENNEDY KLEIN, sophomore

Kennedy KleinParents: Kevin and Kathy Klein
Extra-curricular: Youth group, musical, volleyball, track, cheerleading, Bigs, pep band.
Hobbies/interests: Flute, reading, baby-sitting, hunting, art, pre-k Sunday school teacher.
Future: I plan to attend college, but I?m not certain about a major.

JESSE MEIER, senior

Jesse MeierParents: Jon and Jill Meier
Extra-curricular: Spring weight lifting, football, wrestling, FFA, Zion Lutheran Youth Fellowship, 4-H club.
Hobbies/interests: Hunting, fishing, trapping and working during the summer for my family, farming and ranching. I enjoy being outdoors in general: camping, boating and whatever else.
Future: Major in mechanical engineering and possibly a minor in agricultural technology management, or wildlife management and outdoor entrepreneurship. I?ll possibly go to junior college first out of high school, and then K-State or Fort Hays State afterward.

KALEN MOSS, sophomore

Kalen MossParents: Stephanie and Rusty Moss
Extra-curricular: This year I played volleyball and plan on playing softball. I also participate in the Ebenfeld youth group, Scholars Bowl, chess club, forensics and I?m also helping with the musical.
Hobbies/interests: In my free time, I read or research for the National History Day display I?m working on.
Future: After graduation I plan on attending KU and majoring in law.

Hillsboro High School ?Students of the Month? are nominated and voted upon by the faculty and staff.
