HHS FFAers feted at state

Members of the Hillsboro High School FFA Chapter recently attended the state FFA convention on the campus of Kansas State University in Manhattan.

Throughout the convention, the Hillsboro FFA received recognition.

Lora Andrews placed fifth in Web-page design for the Web page she created for the HHS chapter. It may be accessed from the school district?s home page (www.usd410.org).

The HHS scrapbook placed fifth. The chapter also received recognition for their silver placing in the national chapter areas of Community, Student and Chapter Development.

Andrews and Alex Nuss participated in the state FFA band. State FFA choir members included Jacob Fish, Jacob Edwards, Briana Loewen and Sarah Unruh.

Attending the convention from HHS were Alex Nuss, Lora Andrews, Caleb Barkman, Sierra Langley, David Winter, Jacob Fish, Kelsie Penner, Briana Loewen, Sarah Unruh, Alex Jost, Jacob Edwards and sponsors Sonya and Rickey Roberts.
