HHS concert choir sees and gives performances at Branson

The Hillsboro High School Concert Choir poses in front of the Sight and Sound Theatre in Branson, Mo., where they saw the musical ?Noah? May 8. The choir, directed by Lynn Just, traveled to Branson for the weekend. Prior to seeing the musical, the students went on a backstage tour to see the live animals used in the show, as well as the scene shop, the 22,000-square-foot stage and the dressing rooms. Students also went to a dinner theater and show by the a cappella men?s group Six in the evening followed by time on the go-carts and mini-golf at The Track. On Sunday, Concert Choir performed on the Dick Clark Stage during the ?Grand Old Gospel Hour? and received a standing ovation. ?The choir would like to thank patrons who purchased choir cards that allowed them to raise the funds for this trip,? Just said.
